You know those months when it feels like you didn't really do much other than eat, sleep, and work? But then you look back and realize you actually did accomplish quite a bit? That's how September has felt to me! Kyle and I have been living and breathing the van conversion 24/7 in order to get it liveable. If all goes as planned, we should be leaving for our first big road trip very soon!
September is when I really jump headfirst into fall over here in Tennessee. We are past the hottest month of the year (August) and the days are getting a little shorter. I tried out a few crafts and fall recipes, like my pumpkin candle and DIY pumpkin mug. I also shared my favorite fall movies and where to stream them.
The One Room Challenge is starting in October and although I'm not doing it this year, I shared a few easy one-day DIYs you can do here and here. We got a few small house projects done like repainting the dining room with the help of my friend Hannah, but most of our project energy went into the van. Oh, and Hannah and I also covered her entire dining room in beadboard wallpaper! Watch it here!
We started our interior camper van makeover and we installed the ceiling, walls, and bed. We're sharing the whole process on our YouTube channel!
Here are a few favorites of yours and mine from September!
Tile Paint: I used this two-part system on most of my downstairs. The key is 3 base coats. This was my most purchased link from September!
Platform Slippers: Much more affordable than the Ugg Tasman at only $30!
Wonder Oven: Your leftovers have never tasted better! It's a 6-in-1 but my favorite functions are the air fry and the reheat!
Lenox Spice Village Set : If you haven't already seen this, Lenox is rereleasing their famous Spice Village Set! I've already preordered mine.
Privacy Window Film: The project that broke the internet. This window film goes viral every time I share it and I've linked a few different designs too.
Beadboard Wallpaper : The other project that broke the internet. People are buying this DAILY on my LTK shop! Its one of my favorite DIY's I've ever done too!
Tea Light Caster : If you love cutesy fall decor, you will love this caster that makes a flickering shadow on the wall. They also make Christmas ones too if you like to plan ahead!
Brass Doorknob : My laundry room doorknob! Goes viral every time I share it!
Brass Lightswitch Cover : $8?! Say less. It comes in switches, toggles, and outlet covers so just choose the size and number you need!
See you in October!
xoxo,
Melissa
